Individual taxis in Sfax have decided to lift their strike and resume operations after a meeting on Wednesday with the governor, Anis Oueslati.
A strike has been witnessed since Wednesday at 5:00 am by owners of taxis following a gas crisis and the rejection of the LPG gas file which has continued since 2011.
Calling for reduced gas at kiosks, taxi owners stated they were obliged to use domestic gas cylinders due to the high cost of fuel.
