The number of passengers carried by Tunisair fell by 5% in 2025, reaching a total of 2,486,888 travelers, despite an 8% reduction in available seat-kilometers, according to the airline’s activity indicators published on the website of the Bourse de Tunis.
Data from the national carrier also point to an improvement in the load factor, which rose by three percentage points to 76.1%, compared with 73.1% in 2024.
In addition, the capacity utilization rate increased by 2.4 points in 2025, reaching 66.3%, up from 63.9% a year earlier.
The airline’s revenues totaled 1,627 million dinars over the past year, broken down into 1,563 million dinars from scheduled and additional flights, 26 million dinars from non-scheduled flights and pilgrimage services, and 38 million dinars from mail and cargo operations.
Tunisair also recorded a decline in its market share, which stood at 20%, compared with 22% the previous year. By contrast, the airline reported an 8% increase in cargo and mail transport, reaching a volume of 5,500 tonnes compared with 2024.
