Tunisair Reassures : A320 Fleet Fully Operational After Technical Update

Tunisair announced on Saturday that it has successfully completed the technical update required for its A320 family aircraft, following recent adjustments recommended by Airbus.

The national carrier confirmed that its entire fleet is fully operational and that all rotations are proceeding normally, without any disruption to the flight schedule.

According to the statement issued by Tunisair, the company handles this type of technical update “as part of routine operations,” thanks to the expertise of its teams and ongoing coordination with the manufacturer.

The update concerned only one A320 aircraft, which was subjected “quickly, efficiently and professionally” to the required software patch.

The airline noted that this intervention ensured the aircraft’s full operational availability, guaranteeing the continuity of scheduled routes. Tunisair also sought to reassure its passengers, stating that “the entire fleet is operating at full capacity and all rotations are being carried out according to the planned timetable.”

The company stressed that safety remains its utmost priority, reaffirming its commitment to providing a safe, stable and comfortable travel experience for all passengers.

This technical update comes at a time when several airlines across Europe and internationally have been forced to ground certain A320 aircraft to carry out similar corrections.
