Tunisia-125 Tunisian soldiers deployed in the Central African Republic

In assistance of United Nations efforts in the Central African Republic, Head of State Kais Saied has decided to station an air unit made up of 125 soldiers in this violent country.

According to a decree-law published yesterday, Tuesday, December 22 at the JORT, this unit will assist the efforts of the United Nations in words of the preservation of peace in this nation which is in fact falling into violence.

The missions of this unit will link in particular to aerial rescue operations, medical evacuation and transport of personalities, so it is by no means offensive missions.

The same decree-law states that the duration of this mission is one year, renewable only once.
