According to data from the Italian Ministry of the Interior issued by the Tunisian Forum for Economic and Social Rights (FTDES), 15,769 Tunisian migrants arrived in Italy during the first ten months of the current year compared to 16,699 Tunisian migrants at the end of October 2022, a decline of -5.9%.
The number of Tunisian migrants reaching Italy during the month of October 2023 dropped greatly compared to the month of September 2023, going from 4,814 migrants to 1,672 migrants, a drop of 65%. In October, Tunisian authorities intercepted 3,407 migrants.
