The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Tunisia has announced that it assisted 1,760 migrants in voluntarily returning to their countries of origin during 2025, as part of its return and reintegration programs.
According to an official statement, these initiatives aim to provide beneficiaries with a fresh start built on dignity, stability, and economic independence.
The IOM emphasized that reintegration support is customized according to each individual’s needs, skills, and aspirations, ensuring sustainable economic and social inclusion in their home countries.
Supported activities included agricultural and livestock projects, particularly in rural areas, helping strengthen food security and generate stable income sources.
