Health Minister Faouzi Mehdi announced that only 2,555 healthcare workers were vaccinated against the coronavirus up to March 15 out of 9,719 requested to join the national campaign.
Speaking at today press conference, Mr Mehdi affirmed that 1,086 medics and paramedics out of the 3,041 who confirmed their appointments failed to show up at vaccination centres for many reasons and asked for the vaccination to be put off.
