The numbers of Asylum seekers and refugees in Tunisia increased to 2700 by October 2019, said chief cabinet of the ministry of social affairs Taoufik Zrelli
The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees “UNHCR” received since January 2019 some 1500 Asylum applications, Most of them are from sub-Saharan African countries and Syria. The commission is expecting the number to increase to 4000 demands by 2020.
