As part of the battle against irregular immigration, the central national guard units yesterday stopped 3 attempts to cross the maritime borders illegally.
39 Tunisians were detained including 34 Tunisians and 2 boats were seized.
According to the Interior Ministry statement, 10 individuals who attempted to cross maritime borders illegally were similarly arrested. Legal proceedings were taken against them after consulting the public prosecutor.
