As part of the battle against irregular immigration, units of the national maritime guard in the northern, central and Sahel districts yesterday prevented 3 attempts to illegally cross the maritime borders.
41 people of various nationalities, who attempted to cross the sea borders, were arrested in possession of money in foreign currency.
Another individual in possession of foreign currency and a GPS device was similarly arrested. According to the same source, a vessel was seized during the same operation.
