Head of the Neonatal Resuscitation Department at Tunis Military Hospital and President of the Tunisian Pediatric Association, Mohamed Douagi confirmed that 3,000 children were infected by the Coronavirus in one week.
He revealed that the Delta variant is behind the quickened percentage of infection in adults as well as in children. Mohamed Douagi further affirmed that children under 2 years old are more fragile and vulnerable to Covid-19.
He called on parents not to kiss babies and children and to avoid visiting new parents.
