The ministry of the interior has revealed that the General Directorate of Security has managed to arrest 94,576 people during the first half of 2019.
In the last six months, the ministry reported 3,822 burglary crimes with 1,821 arrestments. The Interior Ministry continued that 4,476 incidents of severe violence resulted in the seizure of 2,290 people. Moreover,1,586 drug cases were registered with 2,562 people incarcerated. At the level of narcotics 1,586 cases of drugs were recorded, allowing the arrestment of 2,562 people.
In the field of security operations, 3,177 offences were registered on public roads with 50,871 seized cars and motorcycles. Moreover, 181,293 reports of traffic transgressions were listed.
