Ennahda Movement MP Abdelhamid Jlassi has advised Prime Minister-designate Elyes Fakhfakh to overcome electoral climate, to acquire the support of large political spheres and not exclude competent and clean individuals.
In an interview with Mosaïque FM, he urged PM Fakhfakh not consider running for 2024 presidential elections and to pave the way for the next government. A piece of advice he directed due to the fear of some political actors who worries that the PM will use his cabinet as a platform for the next elections.
He asserted that the past experience wasn’t reassuring, in reference to Caretaker prime mister Youssef Chahed.
The PM is required to broad consultations and Prioritize economic and social development, added Jlassi . Indicating that the need to stay away from issues of identity that divide people.
