Speaking at a press conference, President of the Free Destourien Party Abir Moussi said that Ali Hafsi cannot be viewed as an independent even if he has been sacked or has offered his resignation. His exit from the party is very recent and does not signal a clear break,she added.
Moussi pointed out that Ali Hafsi is also close to Ennahdha and even a former RCD supporter. He has questionable political connections with the “Muslim Brotherhood” party and only represents an intelligence agent among other MPs and perhaps now in government.
