Speaking to Watania 1, President of the Free Destourien Party Abir Moussi refused to comment on the UAE’s declaration of normalization with Israel, emphasising that this is an internal matter that concerns the UAE.
“These are internal matters,” adding “for us, our foreign policy and the fundamentals of Tunisian diplomacy, we do not interfere … this is an internal matter.”
Moussi added, “Nobody bids us in our position in supporting the Palestinian cause, and we support the application of the borders drawn in the international and international agreements.”
Regarding the statement of the Presidency of the Parliament condemning the UAE’s declaration of normalization with Israel, Moussi indicated that it rejects this statement and rejects any statement issued by “what is called the presidency of the parliament that does not exist.”
