Free Destourian Party leader Abir Moussi stated in a press conference today that she and her party have taken measures to prove the fraudulent financing of the Ennahdha party.
Moussi revealed that what she designated as “the representatives of the Muslim brothers in Tunisia” collect foreign funds indirectly through the Tunisian section of the International Union of Muslim Scholars whom several members of the party are part of it.
In order to prove this idea, the deputy declared that an official request was made to the BCT, as well as to the Zitouna bank to have the financial data of the said association.
Zitounana has until tomorrow to present this information, but has yet to answer, she added.
She affirmed that her party will send an access demand to the National Access to Information Authority.
