The Administrative Court declared that it had obtained a total of six appeals filed from yesterday Monday to Tuesday, in the context of candidacy disputes for the 2024 presidential election, in their first contentious phase.
It added, in a press release issued today, Tuesday, that the appeal chambers of the Administrative Tribunal, which undertake to initially examine the above-mentioned appeals, will start to hold pleading and negotiation sessions to this effect. , from tomorrow, Wednesday August 14, and the following days, in accordance with the deadlines and procedures fixed by electoral law.
According to the schedule published by the ISIE, the final list of candidates will be revealed after the end of the appeal and litigation phases, on September 3. It should be noted that the ISIE announced last Saturday that it had accepted only 3 candidacy files and rejected 14 files from potential candidates for the next presidential elections.
