Afek Tounes denied the parachuted project of the National Consultative Authority for “The New Republic”. The party revealed that the body was created to launch a formal dialogue and conceal a unilateral project and a fictitious participatory approach. It adds that it will count on the results of a consultation that has demonstrated its failure.
“Saïed’s ISIE is incapable to preserve the principles of credibility, honesty and transparency in holding a genuine referendum due to logistical problems and tight time. All of this will lead to forging the will of the people and establishing an illegitimate political regime,” reads the same statement.
Afek Tounes, in the same direction, called for a real participatory and non-consultative dialogue without exclusion and conditions.
