Afek Tounes has chosen not to grant the vote of confidence to prime minster designate Elyes Fakhfakh’s government.
In a declaration released after an extraordinary meeting of its National Council, the party justified its decision by the fact that the process of consultations was held following partisan and non-partisan pressure and in the form of blackmail.
There was also a clear lack of coherence between the political components of the government and total absence of a serious debate around the government programme,” the statement added.
