Speaking to a private radio, the president of the National Union of Butchers Ahmed Amiri talked about the soaring prices of red meats. Amiri stated that the kilo of red meat surpassed 30 dinars in some areas, due to soaring fodder prices. Calling on the authorities to interfere to control the market, Amiri said the price of a kilo of meat could reach 40 dinars.
