Al Amal leader Ahmed Nejib Chebbi maintained through a post on his official page that the government was established amid a crisis of constitutional legitimacy. He further said the new government must be approved by parliament before beginning these activities.
Chebbi further appreciated the powerful presence of women in the government, believing that this can only be beneficial for the image of Tunisia. On the other hand, he stated his dissatisfaction with the speech of the President of the Republic, Kais Saied describing it as offensive, in particular towards the judicial institution, stipulating in the same context that the President of the Republic should respect separation powers and unify the people.
