Al Arabs newspaper pledged not to repeat the allegations related to House speaker Rached Ghannouchi published in an article entitled “Ennahdha in the Land of Grapes and Olives”, which was published in Al-Arab newspaper on July 5, 2019 (which is, to a large extent, the same that was published on the Middle East Online website on the same day).
The newspaper published in an article yesterday a news report that it had admitted false accusations against Ghannouchi, reads a statement by Ennhada on its Facebook page.
The newspaper also accepted to issue the court ruling on its website and to provide a link to the court ruling.
Compensation was also agreed.
