Tunisia-Al Watania rejects part of parliamentary committee of investigation into suspected conflict of interest involving PM

Al Watania parliamentary group declared its refusal to select one of its members to the parliamentary inquiry commission on the situation of conflict of interest and suspected corruption involving Prime Minister Elyes Fakhfakh.
The group asked the Prime Ministry to excuse for the renewed slander and defamation campaign against the group inside the parliament.
President of the Al Watania parliamentary group was designated as Deputy Rapporteur in the composition of the investigation committee’s bureau.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the group repeated refusal to “practices contrary to measures and rules governing the relationship between parliamentary groups.”
The Al Watania group reflects, in its statement, that its connection with the commission of investigation into the conflict of interest related to the Prime Minister was illegal insofar as it took place in reaction to the protest against the decision to expel the party and following the refusal of the Free Destourain Party (LDP) group to participate.
