Prime Minister Sara Zaafrani Zenzri on Friday evening saw off Algerian Prime Minister Saïfi Ghrib at the presidential lounge of Tunis-Carthage International Airport, marking the end of his two-day official visit to Tunisia held on the occasion of the 23rd session of the Tunisian-Algerian Joint High Commission.
The session concluded on Friday with the signing of 25 agreements, cooperation programmes, memorandums of understanding and twinning arrangements, as well as the session’s minutes. The texts cover, in particular, the diplomatic and economic fields, employment and training, youth, health, culture and the media.
On Thursday, Zaafrani Zenzri, alongside Saïfi Ghrib, opened the Tunisian-Algerian Economic Forum, held under the theme “Industry, Energy and Tourism,” in the presence of several ministers from both countries, as well as UTICA President Samir Majoul and his Algerian counterpart, Kamel Moula.
In addition, Tunisian and Algerian companies signed seven partnership agreements on Thursday on the sidelines of the joint economic forum, organized as part of the 23rd session of the Tunisian-Algerian Joint High Commission.
