Tunisia-AMT: Magistrates have been harassed to suspend their strike [Video]

Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, the president of the Association of Tunisian magistrates (AMT) Anas Hmadi confirmed that the protest movement was successful in most courts. He, nevertheless, revealed that professionals in the sector have been harassed and pressured to pause the strike. Added to this, deductions from wages, phone calls and essays aimed at terrifying the judges. “We are ready to defend our colleagues and maintain the democratic process in the country,” he declared.
