Tunisia and Jordan reaffirmed their commitment to deepening cooperation in the fields of education and higher education during a meeting held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, between Moufida Zribi, Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and Dr Azmi Mahafzah, Jordan’s Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The meeting provided an opportunity to review existing areas of collaboration and explore ways to further strengthen ties, particularly in education and higher learning, which both countries consider shared priorities.
Both sides emphasized the central role of education and higher education in building human capital and advancing sustainable development. They also stressed the importance of enhancing student exchange programs, especially in priority disciplines for both countries, to promote academic expertise sharing and scientific cooperation.
