The Ariana Law Enforcement Union declared they would observe a sit-in inside Ariana North Police Station to oppose the actions of a lawyer who assaulted the agents who kept a checkpoint at the entrance to the city of Carnoy. He declined to submit to identity control measures and travel permits during a period of general lockdown. According to the police, he supposedly assaulted the officers verbally and physically.
The officers allege that the lawyer in question got into a fit of anger, when he was brought back to the police station, and assaulted the duty officers and even a citizen who happened to be there.
