The security units of the district of Moknine in the governorate of Monastir arrested this Monday, November 23, 2020, a takfirist element wanted for the benefit of the court of first instance of Tunis 1 for suspicion of belonging to a terrorist organization.
According to a declaration released by the Interior Ministry, the arrested is 22 years old and resides in the region of el Bkalta in the governorate of Monastir. He was condemned to 6 years in prison, the same source reads.
After consultation with the public prosecutor, it was decided to keep him in custody and to take the appropriate legal measures against him.
