The Prosecutor’s Office at the Tunis Court of First Instance authorized officers of the Cité Ibn Khaldoun National Security Center on Monday to arrest a dangerous drug trafficker operating in the neighborhood, known by the nickname “The Doctor.”
According to preliminary information available, officers of the Cité Ibn Khaldoun National Security Center received information indicating that a young man nicknamed “The Doctor” was involved in drug and medication trafficking. His movements were monitored, and a tight ambush was set for him. This led to his arrest and the seizure of a quantity of drugs in his possession.
After obtaining the necessary warrants, security officers searched the suspect’s apartment in the Al-Maroujat neighborhood, where they seized more than 1,100 narcotic medications intended for distribution. The suspect was detained pending further investigation.
