Member of Parliament Mohamed Goumani, categorically rejected news on the deterioration of the state of health of house speaker Rached Ghannouhi, assuring that these are baseless rumours.
In a statement Monday, March 29, 2021, he specified that Ghannouchi exercises his functions, as usual, emphasising that these are repeated agendas aimed to sow trouble, evoking that this information had circulated weeks and in the past months.
He accused those who failed to remove confidence from Rached Ghannouchi and beat him politically of hoping for his illness or death, describing this attitude moral baseness and a crime against the people, Rached Ghannochi and Ennahdha.
