Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, MP Mabrouk Korchid felt that the minister of health Faouzi Mehdi is not the right man for the job to lead the battle against the coronavirus pandemic.
He added that the latter has failed to bring back the vaccines that are the single efficient way to fight the virus, particularly in the context of the arrival of new variants.
Commenting on the latest comments on the absence of infections with the Indian variant in Tunisia, the MP stated the health authorities have lost all trustworthiness.
He called on Tunisians to get vaccinated and use all necessary measures to protect themselves against contagion, emphasising that the authorities should not be relied on under any circumstances.
