Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, Mabrouk Korchid announced that despite his resignation from his post as a parliamentarian, this resignation has not yet become legally valid
The only person competent to deal with resignation requests is the house speaker, who is frozen at the moment.
Regarding the reasons for the resignation, Korchid considered that the parliament was demeaned by the behaviour of the MPs and by several external factors, and in particular by the suspension of its work by the President of the Republic who put the 217 deputies on an Equality.
