The Minister of Foreign Affairs Othmen Jerandi announced today that a meeting was held remotely yesterday between the Tunisian and Libya scientific committees to address the opening of the borders where they agreed on the establishment of a health protocol.
Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, Mr Jerandi revealed that a Libyan delegation will arrive today in Tunisia to sign the sanitary protocol in order to facilitate travel between the two nations as well as trade. The FM also said at the same time that relationships between the two countries are good, specifying that some parties are taking advantage of rumours to disrupt them.
The delegation includes the director of the presidential cabinet, Nadia Akecha, acting minister Interior Ridha Gharsallaoui, acting health minister Ali Mrabet, Minister of Equipment, ‘Housing and Infrastructure, Kamel Doukh as well as senior officials to the Presidency of the Republic.
