Lawyer Samir Ben Amor affirmed that security forces have cordoned off the Tunis Court of First Instance in Bab Bnet this morning to capture master Mehdi Zagrouba in flagrant violation of the provisions of article 46.
He added that the latter is currently carrying a sit-in at the office of the President of the Bar. Our speaker further denounced the fact that a lawyer is judged by the military court.
“There is nothing to justify his arrest, he only carried out his profession in full transparency,” added Samir Ben Amor.
According to him, the sentence can go as far as the death penalty in this state affair.
