The chairman of the Parliamentary Commission for Administrative Reform, Good Governance and the Fight against Corruption, Badreddine Gammoudi, addressed the issue of vaccine given by the UAE.
Speaking on the national radio, he said that 1,000 doses had been sent to the President of the Republic while other doses have been provided by foreign organizations for the benefit of certain parties. “It has been confirmed that some politicians have been vaccinated ” he announced.
On the other hand, Gammoudi called on prime minister Hichem Mechichi to open an inquiry into the next vaccines to be provided by the embassies, noting that the vaccine file will be examined by the Commission in all confidentiality.
Gammoudi also dismissed the press release from the government presidency in which the latter denies being aware of the doses of vaccines provided by the United Arab Emirates. “The presidency of the government, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Health as well as the customs and the central pharmacy, were all aware of this donation,” he explained.
