The member of the committee for the defence of the martyrs Chokri Belaïd and Mohamed Brahmi, Faten Hannaoui, accused the former prosecutor of the court of first instance of Tunis Bechir Akremi of having perpetrated crimes in association with the case of political assassinations.
She clarified that the latter has concealed evidence in connection with this case, revealing that he will in no case be able to resume his activity until the finalization of the current legal case.
The speaker added that like the current case, 4 other complaints have been lodged against Akremi. According to her statements, the latter is accused of damaging public security and state security, maintaining relations with foreign parties for a sum of money, treason, espionage, falsification of records and financial corruption in connection with the secret apparatus of Ennahdha.
