The director of preventive health at the regional health directorate of Beja Nejk Attouani confirmed to Tunisie Numérique’scorrespondent in the region that one death and 397 new infections have been identified, distributed as follows:
- 207 in Beja
- 11 in Amdoun 4
- 3 in Nefza
- 39 in Teboursouk
- 59 in Testour
- 31 in Medjez El Beb
According to the latest report, the number of deaths has increased to 677 since the start of the pandemic. 42 contaminations have been identified in the school environment, bringing the number of cases registered since January 1, 2022, to 712.
