The chairman of the regional commission for the fight against the COVID-19 in Ben Arous Mohamed Ben Khalifa announced that two fatalities from the virus have been documented in the governorate of Ben Arous, during the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 127 since the spread of the epidemic.
In a statement to TAP, the official stated that 80 new cases of infection have been identified in the region, taking the number of positive cases to 3,738 since the virus spread.
According to the same source, 20 people have recovered, bringing the total number of recovery cases in the region to 3,324 people.
In addition, 90 have has left the compulsory quarantine center of Borj Cedria where 137 people are currently admitted among 414 who still carry the virus, according to the same source.
