Security units from the Ben Guerdane police district were able to “find a workshop manufacturing traditional alcoholic drinks and trafficking narcotic pills”.
The aforementioned units were furthermore able to apprehend a foreign national from a neighbouring country, and a Tunisian from one of the central-west governorates, after their home was searched, due to suspicion of their actions. Tablets of narcotic pills intended for marketing purposes were seized, in addition to the seizure materials and equipment utilised for the manufacture, preparation and distillation of alcoholic beverages in the traditional manner to traffic them. After examination by the public prosecutor, they authorized their arrest pending the continuation of the investigation.
