Joint security actors under Bizerte security district arrested 100 people wanted for the benefit of security, judicial and prison authorities, a security source told the TAP.
The same source added that the joint security campaigns resulted in the arrest of two people suspected of belonging to terrorist organizations, they were referred to the judicial pole for anti-terrorism crimes. Additionally, three people were detained for sneaking secretly through marine borders.
Moreover, in an effort to support the regional committee effort in applying health protocols against COVID-19,927 violations were issued for not wearing mask additionally 196 minutes were written for violating curfew.
Other violations include 143 traffic and 140 health offences as well as the seizure of 117 motorcycles for not respecting legal procedures.
