President of the Independent High Authority for Elections (ISIE), Farouk Bouasker, inaugurated, this Friday, November 25, 2022, the headquarters of the unit of observation of the media coverage of the legislative campaign, planned for next December.
The unit is composed of observation groups for the written and electronic press, audiovisual media, social networks, and the financing of the electoral campaign.
Bouasker told Mosaique FM that designated observers have acquired experience in earlier elections and have knowledge of the electoral law.
He likewise insisted on the prerogatives of the body on the elections while ensuring that the law will be applied mainly to oppose electoral crimes in accordance with the code of criminal procedures.
