Prime minster Najla Bouden and Minister of Education, Fathi Sellauti, were present this Thursday, September 15, 2022, at the opening of the school year, at Bhar Lazreg school complex which is composed of primary and middle schools with a reception capacity of 1,200 students who can be grown to two thousand.
This project is part of the school modernization program, carried out with the backing of the European Investment Bank. It was carried out on an area of five hectares and cost about 12 million dinars. The objective is to lessen the burden on other schools in the region that are experiencing a large size.
The Minister of Education confirmed that the Ministry will work in cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior, to secure the perimeter of this complex, while providing the means of transport for students.
In another context, he said to understand the challenges of unions whose claims are legitimate, but to which it is impossible to give, currently, a favourable answer, given the situation of public finances.
