A man over sixty from Mohammedia and residing in a hospital in Ariana has passed from COVID-19.
In a statement to the TAP, director of preventive health care in Ben Arous Fathi Latif said that the deceased was transported to the hospital after confirming his infection to receive treatment as he suffered from chronic illness.
The same source said that the region has also reported two new local infections that belong to two girls that work in two different industrial plants. The source of the first infection has been identified while the second remains unknown, he added.
