Detained Tunisian presidential nominee Nabil Karoui announced in a statement that his Heart of Tunisia party had come first in Sunday’s legislative election.
Karoui evoked that notwithstanding what he was subjected to, he invariably succeeded to pass the second qualifying round of presidential elections and he promptly closed his win with his party‘s ultimate victory in the legislative elections. Karoui added that the unbounded confidence of his constituents was a very heavy burden to bear, he vowed to do everything possible to meet their expectations.
He announced his party intended to form a government close to the concerns and aspirations of the people, a one that opens a window of hope for a new prosperous and ambitious Tunisia, in order to achieve this the party will reach its hands to all forces and progressive democratic parties and national figures who seek to save the country from its 
severe economic and social situation, in which they are aware.
Karoui completed his message by congratulating all those who have gained their voters’ trust and obtained seats in the Assembly of the Representatives of the People, he called upon everyone to work together for the benefit of the people and Tunisia by leaving aside all conflicts and personal interests.
