Tunisia health ministry has jus confirmed the UK COVID-19 strain better known as the SARS-CoV-2 variant from lineage B.1.1.7.
In a press release, the department stressed the surveillance system has not discovered the South African or Brazilain strain in Tunisia.
The Ministry recalls that COVID-19 is still spreading in our country, and calls for continued vigilance and adherence to the preventive measures and health protocols announced by the Ministry of Health.
