The Ministry of Health declared on May 23, 2020, no new cases of COVID-19, consequently Managing the infection toll in the country at 1048 while The death toll rose to 48 after reporting one new death from the virus.
The ministry indicated in a statement, “ 8 cases tested positive of which all of them were previously confirmed cases”. The ministry also specified that 914 patients have recovered.
The statement said that 86 are still carrying the virus while 3 are hospitalized.
