15 more coronavirus fatalities and 290 infections from 2993 screening tests conducted on March 14 were reported, announced the Health Ministry on Monday night.
The death toll consequently reached hit 8404 while the infection tally reached 242.124 cases, including 209.166 recoveries following the recovery of 1480 further persons, according to the same source.
1,048 hospitalizations were recorded on the same date, including 270 in intensive care units and 100 under ventilators in public and private health facilities.
