In fact, 7 infections by this new strain were confirmed in Kairouan, according to the ministry statement. 11 infections were discovered in Grand Tunis and in the governorates of Siliana and Monastir.
The ministry consequently called on all citizens to respect the preventive measures and barrier gestures recommended by the health authorities to slow down the chains of contamination.
