Tunisian health authorities unveiled on Saturday that the number of people who tested positive for coronavirus in the country reached 258,335 after 1404 cases were detected on April 2.
During the same time, there have been 41 deaths attributed to the virus, which brought the death toll to 8893.
Meanwhile, the recovery hit 218,775 after 398 recovered from the virus.
1401 hospitalisations were recorded on the same date, including 346 in intensive care units and 109 under ventilators in public and private health facilities.
