Tunisian health authorities revealed on Thursday that the infection tally has hit 268,837 after 2010 cases were identified on April 8.
During the same time, there have been 43 deaths, pushing the death toll to 9179.
Meanwhile, the recovery increased by 930 to 223391.
1897 hospitalisations were recorded on the same date, including 392 in intensive care units and 112 under ventilators in public and private health facilities
